Guangxi Future Institute of Artificial Intelligence and IoT Industrial Technology is a new high-end R&D institution established under the auspices of the Guangxi Academy of Sciences. It is committed to the deep integration and industrial application of artificial intelligence and Internet of Things technologies, supporting the digital transformation and intelligent upgrading of economic and social development in Guangxi and across China.
With the vision of “Digital Intelligence Innovation, Leading the Future”, the Institute focuses on cutting-edge technological fields including artificial intelligence, edge computing, intelligent sensing, and industrial IoT. It conducts key technological research, product development, and achievement commercialization for vertical industries such as smart grids, intelligent transportation, smart education, and intelligent manufacturing. Centered on resolving industry pain points and accelerating technology implementation, the Institute aims to obtain more than 10 invention patents and develop over 20 scalable intelligent products within three years.
Leveraging the strong industrial resources and market experience of its strategic partner, Dinghe Innovation, the Institute has established in-depth collaborations with doctoral supervisors and research teams from Sichuan University, South China University of Technology, Guangxi University, Guilin University of Electronic Technology, and other universities, jointly conducting research on major scientific issues and targeted technological breakthroughs. It has established several cutting-edge R&D platforms, including AI laboratories, smart grid laboratories, intelligent transportation laboratories, and smart education laboratories, forming a full-chain innovation system covering technology research, scenario validation, and industrial commercialization.
